Overview

The Palm Beach Gardens Rec Center project required us to construct a state-of-the-art pool facility for a diverse range of recreational activities. This community hub, which accommodates activities from lap swimming and water aerobics to learn-to-swim programs, is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The main challenge was managing the project’s scope and scale, coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders, adhering to stringent safety regulations, and meeting the specific requirements of a community-oriented facility.

Solutions

Our team designed the pool to serve multiple activities simultaneously by incorporating designated lanes for lap swimming, a shallow area for children, and versatile spaces for classes and events. We implemented comprehensive safety measures, such as non-slip surfaces, accessible entry points, and exhaustive lifeguard stations, to ensure a secure environment. Successful completion of this project was facilitated by effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders involved.
